One of the biggest names in Japanese rock is back-- DIR EN GREY has recently announced a handful of activity on their main site, including a Japanese tour and a new single.

The single, “Rinkaku”, is due to be released in winter of this year.

Posted most recently was the single tour date, set for Tuesday, December 25th at Tokyo International Forum Hall. More information concerning ticket purchases and availability can be found on their main site. No specifics were given for when tickets will go on sale or if there will be more dates to follow.

The band also announced a 24-hour long special on the Niko Niko show on August 11th, featuring videos of live performances, music videos, and music clips, with an appearance from the band at the very end. The show will be streamed for domestic and international fans alike, with the respective links below.

It seems that the US and Europe will not have their seasonal fall/winter DIR EN GREY experience for the first time in quite a few years, although fans around the world are excited for these new activities regardless.
