Biography
In 1994 PIERROT was founded by Kirito and Jun. The band consisted of Hidelow (vocal), Kirito (lead guitar), Jun (guitar), KOHTA (bass) and LUKA (drums). They released the demo tapes HOMME and FAMME. During November of the same year LUKA left the band and TAKEO took his place. They released their first indies album Kikurui Piere in December. In February 1995 Hidelow left the band. Rumour has it that the plans he and Kirito had for the future of PIERROT were just too different. Kirito took over his place as vocalist and Aiji joined the band as lead guitarist. In the years 1997-1998 PIERROT released some indies albums and toured through Japan. In 1998 they signed a contract with Toshiba EMI and became major. Their first major single was Clear Sky.
