KAI fantasized: "The weather is stormy today, just like the GazettE. It would be awesome if the rain starts to pour or a typhoon churns over."
His dreams came true, to a certain extent. By the middle of the show the roof started to leak and puddles have appeared on the floor of the hall. It was the GazettE who decided the weather that day.

The GazettE is a band that needs not to be specially introduced. This band has a good deal of released CDs and lots of devoted fans all over the world. The band was formed in 2002, and on March, 10th 2012 they celebrated their 10th Anniversary with the show in Makuhari Messe convention center. Tickets for the show were sold out, about 20,000 fans came to see their favorite band perform. Set-list covered the whole discography of the band: it contained songs from the very first release Wakaremichi, to the latest CD under the title TOXIC. The band presented the whole variety of their ever changing sound.

But this event was just another notable moment in the band's history, another refreshing start. The GazettE plans to release their new album this summer, on August, 29th. The new work got the title "DIVISION". The band also announced two tours across Japan: summer 《STANDING LIVE TOUR12-HERESY PRESENTS-HETERODOXY》and 《LIVE TOUR12-DIVISION-GROAN OF DIPLOSOMIA 01 starting in fall.

RUKI: "10 years have passed. I can't believe that several years ago we played for about 30 people in a tiny club. I was sure no one would like to come and see the performance of such a weird band like ours." While he spoke, tears welled in his eyes. Vocalist's words touched the heart of every person in the audience.

So now, 10 years later, the show at Makuhari Messe starts. Fans are clapping their hands cheerfully, seeing the band's logo on the background. The screens are showing pictures of the members starting from the year 2003. KAI first, then URUHA, REITA, AOI and, finally, RUKI. And the band appears on stage keeping this order.

Miseinen (未成年) opened the show, starting off with the loud bang – tinsel with the band's logo shoot up into the air and started falling onto the audience. Yellow and purple lights flooded the stage, soon changing to red and white. Impressive URUHA's solo was followed by a strong bass line of REITA.

On Harunichirikeri, Miwakarerudegozaimasu (春ニ散リケリ、身ハ枯レルデゴザイマス) RUKI stood, moving his limbs like a puppet, lit with contrasting red and green lights. White rays waltzed around the audience area, wandering slowly, and then gaining the tempo, following the rhythm of the song. RUKI pressed his hands to his ears, and the fans screamed as loud as they could. The vocalist showed them dance moves to repeat: raised his hands, then folded them on his chest as if he was holding a baseball bat and then beating an invisible ball back into the audience. People eagerly repeated his movements.

Last chords of the song died out, and the venue went silent. RUKI took the MC: "Hey, Makuhari! Glad to see you all! Welcome! This the GazettE! It's our 10th Anniversary already. It's going to be hot here today!" And 舐~zetsu~ began. White and blue lights pierced the air, and the bridge of the song was marked with beautiful purple and yellow lights.

"Let's dance!" yelled RUKI. The band started to play Psychedelic Heroine, the b-side track from 2006 single under the title REGRET. AOI and URUHA played an intricate solo, standing in the clouds of white light.

"I can't hear you, Makuhari! Louder!" encouraged RUKI. The fans clapped their hands in time with the beat of the next song, SWALLOWTAIL ON THE DEATH VALLEY - the track from the album STACKED RUBBISH. Everyone jumped during the chorus, raising fists up in the air. Fishing off the song, RUKI beckoned the audience with his finger, and then licked it in a sexual manner.

On Ganges ni Akai Bara (カンジスに紅い薔薇) a stand behind RUKI lit up, obscuring his silhouette with blinding rays of light. When the next song, Sumire (董) from ~MADARA~ mini album started, lights flashed one last time, driving fans' attention to the vocalist, then went down, leaving the hall in complete darkness. Cassis surprised the audience with RUKI appearing on stage with the guitar colored red and black. Fans gasped, no one expected anything like that.

After playing The Social riot machines RUKI addressed to the audience once more: "I was really nervous today! You can't even imagine! 10 years passed, after all…And I still see the same faces!" fans laughed, and RUKI went on speaking, "It's a standing live today, right? However be ready for the long show!" He paused for a few seconds, then exclaimed: "10 years! Unbelievable! Let's make it the hottest live ever!" The fans roared approvingly. DISORDER logo appeared on the background of the stage, impressive and mighty in the black clouds of the sky. The GazettE opened the doors to the world of DISORDER. The stage was literally attacked by bright lights colored red, green and blue, sometimes blinding the audience with the flashes of white.

On HEADACHEMAN from the album DIM red and white lights wandered across the logo of the color of blood. The stage was flooded with red, suggesting crazy images. RUKI laughed madly in the end of the song.

Filth in the beauty drew the finish line of the main set. Black and red logo gave way to the blinding golden one. Rays of yellow lit the hall.
"Makuhari! Head bang!" screamed RUKI. The fans started spinning their heads like mad in time with the riffs.

REITA occupied the microphone in the beginning of the encore. "Today's the day of our show, and the weather is terrible. Never mind, let's rock!" The intro of the fans' favorite Ride with the Rockers started.

Next song, Nausea & Shudder represented the album entitled NIL. RUKI turned over the mic stand.
The stage colored purple and blue, adding to the impressiveness of the golden logo on the background. White rays of light flashed in the beat. The lightshow fascinated everyone.

LINDA~candydive pinky heaven~ was the final song of the first encore. The lights flashed red and yellow on the sides of the stage, AOI and URUHA ran along the catwalks toward the audience. Lights flooded the whole hall. Fans waved their hands while the band members poured water onto them.

The second encore started with another MC of RUKI. "Now I would like to sing our first song. The GazettE would not exist without this song". Wakaremichi (別れ道) started. Fans were waving their hands, singing the chorus along with RUKI, who stood still and looked into the distance.

"Last song!" announced the vocalist. Confetti started fluttering in the air. Red spotlights flashed on the sides of the stage, and golden letters of the logo shone bright. Shunsetsu no koro (春雪の頃) was the final song of the night. The band members advanced towards the edge of the stage, URUHA spoke up first: "Thank you for coming tonight! I'm really exhausted now, but it's a pleasant feeling. See you again!" KAI followed: "Thank you, everyone, for today's show! I'm happy to see you here! I hope this day will stay in your memory for long! Thank you all!"
"What can I say, I'm getting older. Many things have happened during all this time." AOI glanced at his colleagues and added, "I'm tired of you! But I'm so happy all of you came here today! Thank you!!"
REITA: "I would like to thank everyone for coming here tonight. The hall is packed with people. Please, continue supporting us! Thank you!"

RUKI: "The five people have been making their way up for long ten years…"

The members took each other by the hands and asked people in the audience to do the same.
"I want to sit down, everyone!" commanded RUKI, "Now…1,2,3!". The band and the audience jumped up together in the same second.

The show came to its finale. The band said goodbye to the fans. They will meet again only in June with the beginning of《STANDING LIVE TOUR12-HERESY PRESENTS-HETERODOXY》tour.
